seemed to spend most of the day on the road again. poor mark was driving, sleeping, and eating only, for the last three days. asher was so tired, when he fell asleep during a break from driving, we decided to let him sleep and him and i would stay in the trailer while mark drove on. that was my moment of peace that was not quiet or restful. oh well, take it where you can. now we are here, not sure what the rush was. got into a small campground in the middle of nowhere. they seemed to have recieved much rain lately, so the mud was very plentiful. after many days spent on the road traveling, showers were our first order. did not realize we had arrived at the camp shower from hell. first you had to push a button for 15 seconds of running water. the shower curtain hadn't been changed in YEARS, and the bug families taking up resisence were not happy with our intrusions. trying to shower and dress while not touching anything led to many funky moves. the water also had a musty smell that most if us were pretty sure we were cleaner after three days on the rouad.
after getting what we hoped wasn't a clean that will kill us,(which noah still believes showering will kill him and will be happy to say i told you so if any of us do indeed get sick.) we went to dairy queen for dinner. we went to the dairy queen that i worked at when i was in high school. it was great to see the owner and remember when i worked there.25 years ago!!!!! she gave anthony and i a birthday ice cream cake and we spent the rest of the night eating ice cream cake and dilly bars. (cherry for me). off to visit family tomorrow. than friends.
Just to let u know that we have non smelly cold well water, that u can shower and feel really clean. U sound like u r having a great time .

Glad you finally made it to OH. Sorry about the showers. Where's that fun homeschooling mom that would use the opportunity to teach about the modernization of plumbing? jk. I would have left her on the interstate some where. :) How fun to go back to your old haunts. Enjoy your family.
